We had a power cut last night :o It was so dark! It was quite light outside, cuz it was evening, but in the house it was pitch black cuz there were no street lights outside or anything, and we had to try and get dressed (we were in pyjamas) by the light of a lighter and I papercut my little finger underneath my nail and it hurt like hell. So then we went and drove around aimlessly trying to find where the powercut started just for fun, and we found the edge and they were all lit up on the other side and it was very creepy. We'd been playing Silent Hill 3 all day, so we were already freaked out a bit. Imagine if the power cut had happened during Silent Hill. But no, it happened during Tony Hawk which wasn't very scary at all.

This evening I'm going to my mum's and then my grandmas so I won't be around until Sunday or maybe Monday. So now, I'd better go and make the most of my day with Chris (honestly, it's only about two days and I'm already worried about missing him).

Am stupidly bored, in a kind of can't-be-bothered-to-do-anything way so thecoalbunker suggested I post a journal entry.

So here I am.

My sister spent the weekend with us so I didn't go online much. This was also because AOL decided to block us out of our account for no paying (so unfair, heheh) so we went to tesco.net instead which is cheaper and a bit nicer. Me and Luu spent all weekend playing Tony Hawk on the PS2 which was fun. And I completed Final Fantasy X just cuz I'd been playing it long enough. Sad ending. But maybe FFX-2 will make it all better.

Next weekend I'm going with my sis and my mum to Southend to see my grandma. Not sure if that'll be fun or not. And then the next weekend Chris is going to Ireland to see his dad. We agreed that I shouldn't go because our holiday in Spain with his mum was crap because of the whole me not talking issue that people seem to respond badly to.

Um, I think that's all of my news. I want to see the Prisoner of Azkaban trailer except my stupid computer won't open it.

Grrr. Am annoyed at PSP. Have been making really fun icons out of new POA pics, and then it decides to crash before I've saved. And I just reinstalled it and it still did it :/ Last time it just wore off, but am getting impatient.

Bought some gorgeous gloves yesterday! Am in love! They're brightly colour stripy and fingerless (so i can type in them) and go half way down to my elbow, so my wrists don't get cold, which I always complained about. Am very excited.

Saw Nicky yesterday which was nice, and we had hot chocolate in starbucks and it wasn't as scary as I imagined. I was complaining to her in Fopp about the new Strokes album and the guy working there recommended the Kills to me, as he said they were the New Strokes but they were nothing like the Strokes so I'm taking them back. I want something fun to listen to :/ Might just rebuy my lost Garbage cds, i like Garbage.

Paint Shop Pro is being stupid and crashing whenever I try to apply text. It's done that before, and then suddenly gets better within a couple of days, regardless of how many rebooting in between. Grr. So I'm downloading Photoshop to satisfy my icon making needs, and its taking forever to download.

We've been playing Resident Evil Code: Veronica X together... Chris plays it and I read out from the walkthrough. But the walkthrough didn't tell us something important and now we have to start all over again with a better walkthrough. It's fun.

Today... did nothing much. Bought 'Bachelor Number 2" by Aimee Mann and am in love with it. Bought 'Angels with Dirty Faces' by the Sugababes and was less impressed with it.

Tried to play a bit more of FFX and got killed by Dark Ixion. Meh.

There's a huge spider crawling across the desk, by my hand, and I'm terrified of spiders but I don't want to drag myself away from my journal. :/
